Quick results from Saturday night’s XKO 18 card in Arlington, TX:

In the night’s main event, Hayward Charles scored a first round guillotine submission victory over Kano Gregoire.

In the night’s co-featured fight, Amber Stautzenberger scored an impressive unanimous decision victory over Ashley Allen.

David Armas weathered some early trouble to submit Moises Diaz with a second round triangle. 

Jeff Glemoud defeated Mark Raso via unanimous decision victory.

Timothy Stephenson was spared a DQ loss when his fight with Steven Cloud was ruled a no-contest following an accidental foul and cut that left Cloud unable to continue in the opening round. 

Derek Perkins submitted Rashad Coulter with a first round kimura.  

Jewel Snell overcame two horrible low blows and a flagrant punch to the back of his head to gut out a unanimous decision victory over Sean Douglas.

Stephen Banaszack looked impressive in submitting Humberto Martinez with a second round arm bar.  SEE FULL ARTICLE

XKO 18 Results – Hayward Charles scores fifth straight win; Submissions aplenty in Arlington

ARLINGTON, TX, March 25, 2013 – Xtreme Knockout’s 18th at THE GYM came and went this past Saturday in Arlington with XKO 18 featuring a total 8 bouts of action for North Texas fight fans. Judging by the looks of things – submissions were the way to go in this one as half of the night’s fights ended with a tap as opposed to KO/TKO’s.

In the main event of the evening, submission whiz Hayward Charles scored his fifth straight victory (all by submission) over Kano Gregoire to snap his own streak of two wins in a row.  READ FULL ARTICLE
